Its slightly thicker diameter and thicker sheath provide an extra margin of of safety when one rope is heavily loaded during a fall or when climbing in a team of three. The Shikra‘s special double sport braid construction provides extra abrasion protection on particularly rough rock like sandstone or granite. The Thermo Shield treatment provides easy and supple handling for this EDELRID rope.</p>
